On a swatch you have knit, you will practice creating mistakes and then apply proven techniques to fix them. The topics covered will include tinking, frogging, fixing a dropped stitch (knitwise or purlwise), inserting a lifeline, understanding stitch orientation, handling accidental yarn overs, turning in the wrong direction when working in the round, and laddering down.

Materials Needed: Homework required for the class! You will need to bring four 5-inch-square swatches knit in a smooth, light-colored worsted-weight yarn. Don't bind off, just slip your stitches on to a piece of scrap yarn.
