It's time for another KAL!
Now that we have made the virtual leap, we want more! So it's time for another virtual KAL to celebrate the coming of spring, friendship, and familiar faces. The pattern we have chosen is a great piece to work on while keeping the company of others on Zoom.
What are we casting on?
We will be casting on the Cité d'Or by Lisa Di Fruscia of Espace Tricot (free pattern on Ravelry). It is perfect for our virtual knit along because the pattern offers an option to knit a poncho or a shawl. This piece is perfect for wearing out in the transitional months ahead.
When are we casting on?
The Cité d'Or Social KAL kicks off on Tuesday, March 2 at 6 PM on Zoom with social gatherings to follow every Tuesday at 6 PM in March. Preregistration on Zoom is necessary to participate. However, you will only need to preregister once to attend all virtual March gatherings. Bonus!

What about the yarn?
Right... we can't forget to talk about the yarn we recommend for this knit along because it is AMAZING! Cité d'Or is knit with a strand Biches et Bûches Le Petit Lambswool held together with a strand of Biches et Bûches Le Petit Mohair (or Rowan Kidsilk Haze). The combination of yarns creates a finished piece that is light and fluffy.
