Knit along with us in January!

January is the month for us to start not one... but two knit alongs! Which project will you choose?

What is a Knit Along (KAL)?

A knit along (KAL) is a social craft project where everyone participating in the KAL knits the same project during the same period of time. It’s a time to share the common experience of working through the same pattern with like minded individuals. Encouraging and inspiring each other both in person through meetups and virtually by sharing progress on social media through the use of hashtags.

Join us in a knit along!

Knit along with us to celebrate the wonderful year that 2019 will be! We will be kicking off not one… but two KALs in the month of January. Your big decision will be which project to choose. Maybe you will challenge yourself and join both!

Daelyn Pullover KAL

For those interested in knitting a sweater, Karen is cheering you on to complete Isabell Kraemer’s Daelyn Pullover or Anchor’s Away Pullover (the kid’s version of Daelyn). Both projects use worsted weight yarn and are knit top down with wonderful detailing to keep you interested. We will be kicking off this KAL at the studio on January 6, 2019 from 1:30-3:30. Please keep in mind that this is not an actual class, it is a social gathering of knitters who are all knitting the same project.

Compass Cowl KAL

We all know how much fun stranded colorwork can be! Lynn is cheering you on to complete the Compass Cowl by Tin Can Knits. Using 2 or more colors of sport weight yarn, you will be able to crank out this cowl and count on it to keep you going in the right direction for 2019. We will be kicking off this KAL at the studio on January 13, 2019 from 1:30-3:30. Please keep in mind that this is not an actual class, it is a social gathering of knitters who are all knitting the same project.
