Blackbird Baking Company
You have to stop by and visit our neighbors, the Blackbird Baking Company. They have fresh and yummy cookies, croissants, artisan breads and coffee or drinks. The entrances are in the parking lot close to Detroit and the red door in front of Stitch Cleveland off of Sloane. Delighted, we are absolutely delighted to have them right next door!

Maggi Jackson plus Julie
I feel like a little kid I am so excited about Maggi coming to the store this weekend. She is so much fun, her designs are so contemporary and she is bringing her U.K. operations manager Julie to see how classes run in the U.S. We will have our own little sampling of the U.K. and Irish culture about the store. They will both be in the store on Friday if people are not able to come to the other events to meet them stop by and say Hi.

Sweetest crochet baby blanket

O.K. those of you that love to crochet or want to learn to crochet, check out this baby blanket....probably the sweetest I have seen in a while.....It is so simple...maybe it is the simplicity that makes it so wonderful....maybe the fact that it is made out of the Blue Sky Alpaca organic cotton.....maybe the fact that I am a sucker for scalloped edgings and ribbon...anyway here is the picture and the free downloadable pattern link:
