Did somebody say cables!?!

Designed by Sloane Rosenthal, the October edition of the Year of Hats is all about cables! This hat is knit from the bottom up and features a deep 2 x 2 ribbed cuff that can be easily folded up. In this class, we will cover the provisional and Tubular cast-on, working cables from charts, and decreasing.

Kelbourne Woolens Year of Hats

Kelbourne Woolens and River Colors want to help you expand your knitting skills by making a hat each month that introduces you to new skills and techniques. On the third Tuesday of each month, they release the new Year of Hats pattern for that month. Here at the studio, we will be working it up prior to class so that we can develop a curriculum for your class the following month. We love hats and think this is a groovy way to learn new skills and produce something wearable at the same time. Oh, and did we mention that each month that you participate and use Germantown yarn you will be given a free leather tag kit to sew onto your finished hat. Wait, a whole collection of hats that I made with collectors tags? Sign me up!

*Students will receive a 10% discount on class materials.
