Why knit toe up socks?

  • Using an afterthought heel gives you the ability to easily remove and reknit the original heel if it wears wears through.
  • You want some mindless knitting; the tube of the sock and the cuff will meet this need.
  • You want to practice knitting in the round on double points.

Learn everything you need to know to knit a fun pair of socks from the toe up using double pointed needles during this three session class -a variation of the figure 8 cast on, an afterthought heel, and a stretchy bind off.
