Create stitch patterns!
This sampler cowl class is the perfect project for learning how knits and purls work together to create texture and patterns in your knitting. You will learn and practice how to read written patterns as well as simple charts. During the class, you will start the cowl and apply the pattern and chart reading as you progress. We will discuss and work on how to "read your knitting" as well.

Skills Needed: Must know how to cast on, bind off, knit and purl
Materials Needed: 1 skein of Berroco Vintage or Malabrigo Rios (150-170 yards), US size 8 (5mm) needles, straight or 24” circulars to knit back and forth, two stitch markers, darning needle
