Description of class:
This class will provide step by step instruction for a basic rustic cuff down sock with heel flap and gusset construction and standard toe shaping closed with Kitchener stitch. We will discuss foot measurements, gauge, alternative methods for cuffs, heels, and toes, and various tips and tricks to help you gain confidence.
For ease of instruction we will limit patterning to plain stockinette stitch or simple 2x2 or 3x1 rib. Student’s choice. This basic sock construction will provide the necessary skills to enable the knitter to pursue more adventurous sock patterns independently.
Materials purchased from River Colors Studio for the class will be discounted 10%.
