Learn To Knit A Log Cabin Square

The Log Cabin square is formed by an arrangement of concentric strips which represent the walls of a log cabin. A center patch represents the hearth. Self striping yarns produce strips of different colors that blend together or use solid colors for a color block effect. Because it’s easy to memorize and compact in size it makes a great take-along project. Learn this easy to customize technique and design your own blanket or follow one of the many beautiful patterns available.
