Learn New Knitting Starts & Stops
If you only know one way to cast-on or bind-off, this workshop is for you. Many designers have specific suggestions for cast-ons to create firmer or more elastic fabrics from the start, and recommend bind-offs that may sound unfamiliar to newer knitters. This workshop will demonstrate and help participants practice commonly used knitting starts and stops.
Homework: Make 2 swatches approximately 2" by 4", in garter stitch (knit all stitches all rows) out of smooth light colored yarn of dk or worsted weight. Leave on holders or spare yarn - do not bind-off!
