I love the way my nephew's hat turned out. I used the Manos wool and a hat pattern out of Last Minute Knitted Gifts. I am such a loose knitter I ended up working on U.S. size 8 needles. I also ended up following the directions for the childs size so that it would not be too big. It fits live a glove(yet I see it can be bigger if need be) and is not the least bit scratchy.
